Beeswax

“The Queen of waxes,” Beeswax is produced by the honey bee as the building material for the breeding and honey-comb. Following a physical cleansing process its chemical consistency remains unchanged. Depending on which plant pollen the bees have harvested, the colour of the wax may be brown, orange, light yellow or white.
Beeswax provides long burn times, burns very hot and in spite of its relatively soft consistency, has a high melting point. In storage beeswax will crystallise and form a white surface layer, which is easily removed with gentle use of a hairdryer!.
Its typically wonderful scent of honey and the silky natural opaque appearance of this candle makes it an irresistible, luxury product. Due to the gradual reduction of the honeybee in our natural environment, beeswax candles are becoming an increasingly precious gift.
